Karey is a graduate of the Lauterstein-Conway Massage School and has been a practicing massage therapist for six years. She has a background in dance, body mechanics, and running.
After receiving her degree from Hunter College in New York, Karey returned to her hometown of Austin and was accepted into the UT nursing program. While studying at UT, Karey received a mind-blowing Rolfing session and quickly realized she wanted to practice massage instead of nursing, so she decided to attend massage school and couldn’t be happier with her decision.
Karey loves her work as a massage therapist. She approaches massage from a structural standpoint. She utilizes trigger point, neuromuscular therapy, deep tissue, orthopedic, and Swedish relaxation techniques to provide each individual with a massage tailored to their specific needs. She is great at working out chronic pain, as well as everyday aches, like low back pain and neck and shoulder tension.
If you want a lighter touch or mediation from the outside in, try a Craniosacral session with Karey.
