Michael loves to work with stretching, massage and movement re-education. We can all agree we want to feel better in our bodies. The problem is we often tend to focus on product goals (losing weight, running times, resolutions, etc) rather than process goals like 'How-to-Stretch-Smart'.
A therapist for almost two decades, the last 10 years Michael has focused on developing a more effective system of healing techniques. He has helped clients across a spectrum of accident recovery, trauma, pre-post surgery, pregnancy, and various levels of athleticism to gain mobility, feel better in their bodies and themselves.
Michael grew up overseas as an expat moving to many countries and first lived in the US to attend the University of Texas. Always active and a lover of sports Michael began his study of movement therapy education through the School for Body-Mind Centering beginning in 2005 and then transferred that knowledge to massage therapy working 1:1 with clients since 2010. Michael's sports days are long gone however he can be caught dancing if the music is on.
A proud father of a 10 yo attending Zilker Elementary Michael knows just how important it is our children need us to show up for them in these challenging times. With a son who is 2E some will know what it's like to walk the line of figuring out how to both challenge their extraordinary capabilities while treading lightly on disabilities. Michael always encourages his son in all matters to express a "Glad-to-be-here Happy-to-fix-it mindset".
Michael's mantra is Movement on What Matters.
